👀 What we’re watching
⚽️ Most famous napkin in the world 🐐
Lionel Messi signed with FC Barcelona when he was just 13 years old. But it wasn’t always meant to be. Messi was very close to going back to Argentina or even looking at Real Madrid, as his family was unsure of Barcelona’s commitment to him. Fearing losing out on the teenage phenom, club sporting director Carlos Rexach scrambled together a contract on a napkin. It was signed by Rexach, Josep Minguella, who had helped bring Messi over from Argentina, and Horacio Gaggioli, who helped broker the deal. The napkin that inked Messi to Barcelona is now perhaps the most famous napkin in history and bidding for it is underway.
🎶 The King and the Goat 🤯
Perhaps the two most famous Michaels in history, Michael Jackson and Michael Jordan both signed a copy of Jackson’s “BAD”. The 1987 album was the first in history to have five singles consecutively peak at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart. The album is accompanied by a UDA/Upper Deck Letter of Authenticity as well as a PSA/DNA Letter of Authenticity.

The night before John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, he attended a meeting at the Rice Hotel in Houston, where the president took four pages of notes. Those notes are now on auction with bids already above $20,000.
👟 Zion’s infamous blown-out Nike sneaker returns
The day after Zion Williamson’s foot plowed straight through the sole of the sneaker in the midst of a Duke-North Carolina showdown, Nike’s stock plummeted over $1.1 billion.
The infamous blown-out Nike shoe was long-thought to have been destroyed.
But the shoe has hit the auction block as a part of Goldin’s May Elite Series. Bidding opens May 10 and closes June 8.
