With LeBron’s career nearing its end, you’d think one of his most expensive cards would be enjoying a pop in value. But, as our Darren Rovell explains, that is far from the case when it comes to his 2003 Topps Chrome Refractor.
On Saturday, a 2003 LeBron James Topps Chrome Refractor, in a PSA 10, sold in Memory Lane’s auction for $21,259.
On March 6, 2021, the button was pushed on eBay to buy this LeBron card for $300,000. Whether it was paid for or not is anyone’s guess, but the card fetched a price of more than $200,000, multiple sellers confirmed to cllct.

With Anthony Edwards turning heads on the biggest stage in the NBA, collectors are taking notice. A jersey which previously sold for just $8,400 in 2021 fetched a massive return over the weekend.
