🚨15-year-old QB signs NIL deal

Though he has yet to take a snap in high school, Peyton Houston signed an exclusive trading card deal with Leaf for a “life-changing” sum of money. The company is intent on “investing early” in the next generation of stars, hoping the relationship will carry over to college and the pros.

⚾️ Babe Ruth's 'Called Shot' jersey to be auctioned

The jersey worn by Babe Ruth when he hit his legendary “Called Shot” home run in Game 3 of the 1932 World Series will hit the auction block at Heritage this summer, carrying an estimate of $30 million and up.

Last sold for less than $1 million in 2005, the jersey will become the most valuable piece of sports memorabilia ever sold if it achieves even half its estimate.

The current record belongs to the $12.6 million sale of a Mickey Mantle 1952 Topps card, sold in August 2022.

🎸 Pearl Jam photographer Danny Clinch spoke to cllct about his three decades covering the band

Rock photographer Danny Clinch talks with cllct’s Kevin Jackson on his career as Pearl Jam’s photographer of record and the many memories along the way.

Clinch asked to grab some photos after the interview, and Vedder obliged in a “serendipitous” opportunity the photographer said he wouldn’t have had otherwise.

"It just seemed like such great timing to capture someone at the beginning of their career, and who had just made such a great record and had an interesting story,” said Clinch, who added that one of the photos eventually ended up on the cover of Spin magazine.

But “serendipitous” doesn’t begin to describe the circumstances that led to the most memorable photo Clinch took later that night during Pearl Jam’s eight-song set.
